Sibuya Game Reserve

With a 3,000 Ha area of wildlife, the Sibuya Game Reserve offers one of the highest density of animals in South Africa which gives you more opportunities to see the many different species of animals. The reserve counts a lot of navigable rivers that you will stride along as soon as you arrive to join the Lodge, an unusual start which predicts good moments!
During your leisure time, you can choose to relax enjoying the refreshing outdoor pool or to do one of the activities that the park has to offer. If you are an avid birder, seize the opportunity in order to see some of the 400 different bird species that the park hosts. Walking or canoeing, go meet kingfishers, secretary birds and sunbirds for a very special experience that just few destinations can provide!

4x4 Game Drive

Not two Game Drives are the same and you will have the opportunity to do three at the Sibuya Game Reserve. There are three chances to come upon the wildlife and see the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant) free-roaming in their natural environment among zebras, giraffes and antelopes. Thanks to its localisation close to the Indian Ocean, some turtles, dolphins and even whales sometimes can be seen near the river mouth. To see one of these impressive animals is always a great moment.
Your experienced ranger guide will lead you across varied sceneries like riverine areas, forests or savannahs which are a good way to explore the wealth of the South African landscape and wildlife in only one place. So, don’t forget your camera and be prepared to live a wonderful experience !
