Why Choose Our Cape Town Safari?
Your journey begins as you travel from Cape Town towards the interior of South Africa, showcasing breathtaking landscapes and rich agricultural heritage along the way.

Highlights of Your Safari Adventure:
Huguenot Tunnel: This impressive 4 km tunnel provides a faster and safer route, avoiding the steep and winding mountainous pass. As a vital connection on the N1 highway, it offers a smooth transition into the stunning scenery of the Western Cape.

Worcester: As you continue your journey, you’ll pass through Worcester, the largest city in the Breede River Valley. Renowned for its exceptional wine production, Worcester is steeped in history and contributes significantly to the viticultural heritage of the region.

Hex River Valley: Beyond the tunnel, the road leads into the spectacular Hex River Valley, known for its breathtaking mountain views and lush vineyards. Each season transforms this area into a vibrant tapestry of colors, from autumnal reds and oranges to serene white snow in winter. This route is not merely a passage; it’s an experience, showcasing the unparalleled natural beauty of South Africa.

Wildlife Experience:
Two-Hour Open Game Drive: Embark on an exhilarating two-hour game drive in an open 4×4 vehicle. Spot an enormous variety of wildlife, including the iconic Big 5 — elephants, rhinos, lions, buffalos, and leopards — along with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and an array of antelopes. Watch for a variety of migratory birds that frequent the lush wetlands.

Unmatched Comfort: Just 170 km from Cape Town, the game reserve spans 10,000 hectares of natural beauty, offering a 4-star safari experience that blends adventure with world-class comfort. Enjoy delicious buffet-style lunches featuring fresh, local dishes. Stay connected with complimentary WiFi available throughout the lodge.

Relaxation and Serenity: After your adventure, unwind at the Tranquila Spa, where you can indulge in a heated pool, sauna, and steam room, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The lodge also features an infinity pool with a wet bar, allowing you to cool off while taking in stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.

1

Wine region & Klein Karoo

Start by discovering the stunning South African winelands, set against the backdrop of dramatic mountain ranges and picturesque scenery.

Then move inland to the semi-desert region of the Klein Karoo, equally beautiful but with contrasting colours and striking landscapes.

2

Fruit Growing Region of Ceres

Named after the Roman goddess of agriculture, you’ll soon see why Ceres is referred to as ‘South Africa’s Fruit Basket’. This magical landscape is characterised by sprawling fruit orchards producing an abundance of apples, pears, nectarines, peaches apricots and cherries.

The region is even more dramatic in autumn when the trees turn the region into a kaleidoscope of browns, oranges and yellows.

3

Game Drive in open 4 x 4

After an inspiring drive, it’s time to meet South Africa’s famous Big 5. Inverdoorn Game Reserve covers an area of 10 000ha and here you’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, cheetahs and many bird species. Your guide is an experienced game ranger who’ll let you walk with a herd of giraffes and introduce you to the king of the jungle at the Lion Preservation Project. After these unforgettable encounters you can chill at the pool, or fireplace in winter, before making your way back to Cape Town.
